SMART's Santa Rosa-based control center has been operating using generator power due to the widespread outages resulting from the extreme fire conditions. Due to power outages and closed railroad crossings in the northern portion of Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Airport and Santa Rosa North stations will be closed through Sunday.
"Safety is SMART's top priority and we will continue to monitor fire conditions and will use all necessary safety precautions," SMART officials said on the agency's website.
SMART's Thursday and Friday and weekend schedules are below. Passengers are encouraged to check www.SonomaMarinTrain.org to ensure there are no schedule changes due to changing fire conditions.
