San Ramon Rocked With 2 Quake Swarms In 24 Hours

San Ramon endured dozens of different earthquakes from early Monday morning into Tuesday afternoon.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon was hit with a total of 10 earthquakes from Monday evening to Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The newest swarm of earthquakes followed an earlier swarm that took place Monday morning that ranged from a 4.2 to a 2.5.

The latest swarm were mostly centered in the area between Bollinger Canyon Road and Alcosta Boulevard, and range from a 3.4 to a 2.5. Click on the links below to learn more about each individual quake:

Residents in the Tri-Valley reported feeling the shaking from the 3.4 lightly, according to the USGS "Did You Feel It?" survey. No injuries were reported.

San Ramon has been rocked by more than 300 earthquakes between November and January, making international news. In December, the city detailed its earthquake readiness policies in response to the near-constant barrage.
