Tesla Crashes Into San Ramon Apartment Building: Cops
A Tesla crashed into the Mill Creek at Windemere Saturday.
SAN RAMON, CA — A Tesla crashed into an apartment building in San Ramon Saturday, police confirmed to Patch. The car crashed into Mill Creek at Windemere, located at 2100 Waterstone Place at 11 a.m., according to SRPD Lt. Leysy Pelayo. No injuries or arrests were reported.
Patch has reached out to the apartment building for comment, and is awaiting information on damage to the building.
The same apartment complex was the site of a non-fatal shooting in February 2023. Forest T. McCaskill, a 26-year-old from Concord, was arrested in Anaheim and charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon of his ex-girlfriend following a multi-agency investigation, according to the Alameda County District Attorney.

This is also not the first time a Tesla crashed into a San Ramon building. In February 2023, a San Ramon man’s Tesla lost control as he pulled into his garage. The car hit a wall and drove straight into his home, taking the kitchen island and the refrigerator out, a neighbor told KPIX. The weight of the collapsed wall stopped the car’s forward progress, but the wheels continued to spin.
Patch is still awaiting information on possible causes of Saturday’s crash.
