Watch Dramatic Police K9 Demonstration from San Ramon's Emergency Preparedness Fair
The canine officer and his partner showed off their teamwork skills thanks to the help of a good-natured "suspect" in protective gear.
SAN RAMON, CA — Residents who attended the Emergency Preparedness Fair in San Ramon last weekend enjoyed multiple demonstrations from police, fire and other first responders. Danville police shared a video of a very dramatic canine demonstration put on by the San Ramon Police Department.
In the video, the canine officer and his partner showed off their teamwork skills thanks to the help of a good-natured “suspect” in protective gear.
The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District and the the bomb squad also gave demonstrations during the event, which focused on teaching preparedness. Fairgoers learned about CPR, proper usage of an AED, pet first aid, and fire safety. Parents were able to take advantage of car seat checks and fingerprinting for children.
