Berry steam treatment pilot program gets underway in Santa Cruz County (santacruzsentinel.com) — Santa Cruz County is testing a new steam-based soil treatment on Pajaro Valley berry fields, including sites near local schools, as a possible alternative to pesticide fumigation.
