UPDATE: Fleetwood Mac Singer Attacked By Stalker In Santa Monica: Report

The musician was attacked by a woman when he arrived for an appointment in Santa Monica, police sources said, according to a report.

UPDATE: A 54-year-old woman named Michelle Dick has admitted confronting Buckingham and is claiming that he is her biological father.

She spoke with KTLA5 Wednesday night and admitted to confronting Buckingham last week and to visiting his Brentwood home in the past. Police said that an arrest in the case is imminent, the station said.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Guitarist and singer Lindsay Buckingham, best known as a c0-lead singer of the band Fleetwood Mac, was attacked by a person described by sources as a stalker, NBC4 has reported.

According to police, the musician was attacked by a woman when he arrived for an appointment in Santa Monica.

Upon entering a building, the stalking suspect "threw an unknown substance" at the 76-year-old Buckingham and then fled, NBC reported.Buckingham was not injured, police said. Police have identified the suspect, but no arrests were reported as early Wednesday morning.Buckingham was a member of the band until leaving in 2018. He is also known for his solo work and as part of the duo Buckingham Nicks with singer-musician Stevie Nicks.
