3 Suspects Sought In Stabbing Of Boy In El Verano: Cops
A boy treated at Sonoma Valley Hospital for stab wounds told detectives he was walking to a local store when he was stabbed and robbed.

SONOMA VALLEY, CA — Detectives with the Sonoma County Sheriff's Violent Crimes Unit are investigating the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in El Verano. Deputies were dispatched at 3:45 p.m. Monday to Sonoma Valley Hospital where the teen was being treated for stab wounds, sheriff's officials said in a news release.
The boy told deputies he was walking toward Caselli's Market and when he got to the intersection of Railroad and El Verano avenues, three males in a gray car similar to a Nissan Cube or a Toyota Scion asked him if he was in a gang, then started yelling "gang-style" sayings at him before he could respond.
They drove off and the boy kept walking. Once the boy reached the 19000 block of Bay Street, the same car quickly pulled up and the right-front passenger got out and started fighting with the boy, sheriff's officials said.
