Apply Now, Good-Do'ers: Grants Ready To Fund Sonoma Valley Orgs

Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley applications are open for Sonoma Valley nonprofit grants.

SONOMA VALLEY, CA — The Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley has opened applications for its spring community grants program, inviting local education and nonprofit organizations to apply for funding.

The club operates the annual grant cycle each spring, providing financial support to organizations that deliver services in Sonoma Valley.

In 2025, the club awarded more than $120,000 in grants to local groups, including the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, Sonoma Community Center, Sonoma Splash, Sonoma Overnight Support, Care Partners Initiative, Food For All, Music In Place, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, Pets Lifeline and Sweetwater Spectrum, the Sonoma Index-Tribune reported.

The Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley funds the grants through proceeds from its Luck of the Irish Raffle.

Applicants can download materials and review submission guidelines on the club’s website. A grants committee will review applications and announce award recipients by the end of May.

The deadline is April 30.

Shanis Nelson, co-chair of the grants committee, said the program focuses on organizations that provide direct services to residents, according to the Sonoma Index-Tribune.
