This summer, The Lodge at Dawn Ranch is elevating the wine dinner beyond pairings and pours with the launch of Collector's Cellar, an ongoing series offering guests access to rare bottles, acclaimed producers, historic wineries and collaborations typically reserved for collectors and wine industry insiders.
On June 27 from 5-8pm, guests can experience an evening with Dancing Sonoma, a reimagined Sonoma vineyard by a mother-daughter duo taking a modern, artisanal, hands-on approach to winemaking that prioritizes texture, balance, and individuality over convention. Guests can enjoy a seasonal multi-course menu highlighting fresh seafood and peak-season produce, with each course thoughtfully paired with a selection of the winery’s collection of zinfandels. The series is designed to deepen guests’ connection to the stories, philosophies, and craftsmanship behind the glass, bringing together pioneering winemakers and singular wines that reflect a distinct sense of place and identity. The tasting menu includes:
- Oyster, Scallop Tostada, and Dadinho de Tapioca paired with Bounce (zinfandel, sparkling rose, 2024)
- Asparagus paired with Dancing Rose (zinfandel, 2025)
- Fava and Morels paired with Fresh Take (zinfandel, 2024)
- Snake River Farm Picanha with chimichurri paired with Duo (zinfandel, 2024)
- Peach dessert paired with Old Vine (zinfandel, 2023)
