SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Solano County Sheriff's Office said Thursday it arrested a suspect in connection to a hate crime incident at Thompson's Corner Saloon in Cordelia last summer.
On Aug. 8, the owners of Thompson's Corner Saloon on Cordelia Road reported someone spray painted red swastikas and racial slurs on their exterior walls.

The sheriff's office said, despite releasing surveillance images to the public, the investigation initially met with limited success in finding substantial leads.
Eventually, a tip from a community member drew attention to several racial slurs posted on social media specifically targeting Thompson's Corner Saloon. Investigators obtained warrants for digital evidence from the social media provider, successfully uncovering the account responsible for the offensive posts. The person behind the account allegedly matched the physical description of the suspect captured in the surveillance footage and resided near the saloon.

Deputies executed a search warrant Wednesday at the suspect's apartment and found "substantial evidence" directly linking the individual to the crime, the sheriff's office said on social media.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Brendan Moore of Fairfield, who the sheriff's office said admitted to defacing the property with hate speech.
Moore was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and committing a hate crime.
