• Newly renamed, Sonoma Valley Middle School opens for 2026-27 school year (sonomanews.com) — Sonoma families are starting the 2026-27 year at the newly renamed Sonoma Valley Middle School, created from the merger of Adele Harrison and Altimira. Trustees approved the name change while keeping the beloved Wolves mascot, and new campus signage now reflects the school's updated identity.
   

• Sonoma County Weighs Multiple Airport Property Deals, Vineyard Regulations (patch.com) — Sonoma County supervisors are meeting today to weigh new airport parking land deals, major water agency contracts, and further loan forgiveness for an affordable housing fund.
