• Traffic circle in Sonoma comes out as bike and pedestrian improvement plans move ahead (norcalpublicmedia.org) — A temporary traffic circle near Sonoma Valley Hospital is being removed for street maintenance as the city rethinks how best to slow cars and protect people walking and biking on Third Street West. Sonoma planners still aim to turn the corridor into a bike boulevard and are weighing options like all-way stops and speed humps, alongside other new crossings and a raised Junipero Serra Bike Path crosswalk.

• Museum to Host a Conversation About Public Art in Sonoma (sonomasun.com) — Sonoma residents are invited to a Sept. 3 conversation at Sonoma Valley Museum of Art about the future of public art in town, including a proposed Percent for Art in-lieu fee. City cultural and parks leaders will discuss strengthening Sonoma's public art program and how it can enhance local public spaces, reflect the city's character, and support the local economy.

• Sonoma Mountain Ranch Sale Sets County Record (patch.com) — A 1,119-acre ranch on Sonoma Mountain in Sonoma Valley just sold for $38.5 million, setting a new Sonoma County residential sales record. The extensively renovated estate, known as "The Summit," includes multiple residences, lakes, greenhouses, and broad privacy, though the buyer's identity has not been disclosed.
