Nine Run for Lynnwood City Council
Today is election day. There are several races on the Lynwood ballot. There are nine candidates, including two incumbents to choose from for council.

Lynnwood residents heading to the polls will decide the results of three races today, Compton Community College, Lynnwood Unified School District and the Lynnwood City Council.
The biggest field of candidates, a total of nine, is vying for three open seats on the City Council. Incumbents Jim Morton and Maria T. Santillan-Beas are running for reelection. Mayor Pro-Tem Ramon Rodriguez announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election.
The incumbents are challenged by Domitila "Tila" Aguilar, a teacher, Terri Armstrong, a student services professional, Lynder Joyce Briggs-Hancock, who is listed on the Registrar of voters as a mother, Edwin Hernandez, the City Treasurer, Arthur Martinez, Jr., a commissioner, Iris Pygatt, a businesswoman and Jose Luis Solache, Governing Board Member with the Lynwood Unified School District.
