2014 Youth Art Show

The SSF Cultural Arts Commission, in partnership with the

Unified School District, invites the public to celebrate the creativity of

youth, at the 2014
YOUTH ART SHOW.

This
two day event showcases the artistry of SSF Unified School District students
from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Visitors will discover wonderful art
exhibits in photography, sculpture, watercolor, ceramics, acrylics, and
mixed-media.

In
addition to the featured visual art, there will be performing art

demonstrations! Friday’s event opening includes an exciting performance by

Halau 'O Keikiali'i from the Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center and a

whimsical presentation by Jungle Joe and his California Puppets. On Saturday,

the performing arts presentation will feature Ballet Folklorico of South San

Francisco and the SSF Recreation Hula & Tahitian Dance Class.

The
event will be held at the Municipal Services Building, at 33 Arroyo Drive, on

Friday, March 28 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, March 29 from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is
open to the public. Admission

is free!

Selected
art from this program will be on extended exhibited in the Municipal Services
Building and City Hall for approximately three weeks after the show.
