Recognize This Man? Police Need Help Identifying Peninsula Walgreens Robber

Police said the man stole several bottles of painkillers.

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy in Millbrae on Sunday.

The suspect entered the pharmacy located at 45 S. El Camino Real around 8:40 p.m. Sunday, officials said.

ReAfter loitering around the aisles, the suspect approached the pharmacy counter and demanded pain pills while lifting his sweater to reveal a handgun in his waistband.

The pharmacist gave the suspect multiple bottles of pain medication, then the suspect fled westbound in the direction of the neighboring Lucky Supermarket, officials said.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was seen wearing a black San Francisco Giants cap, a red sweater and a black scarf wrapped around his neck.

He is described as Asian, in his mid-20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build.
