South San Francisco CA: URGENT: Blood Donations Requested

Dear Blood Donor,

As we approach the holiday season, please accept a big THANK YOU from Blood Centers of the Pacific for all the gifts of tomorrow you have given through your blood donations.

In December and January, BCP will be undergoing training for and eventually changing over to a new computer system. This new system will help us make the blood supply even safer and allow donors to complete donor registration from the convenience of home or work.

Due to all the training we will only be able to run about half of our usual operations. Even though we have made arrangements with neighboring blood banks, we still need your help to meet the 500 donations needed daily.

Please…

- If your school, church or company is scheduled, be the first to sign up.

- If your blood type is RH negative, you are eligible and you are a whole blood or red cell donor, please call 1-888-393-4483 or visit www.bloodheroes.com

- If your bloodtype is RH positive please call 1-800-707-8483 to speak with a representative about doing an apheresis donation.

- Appointments are highly encouraged during this time.

If you have been told previously by us or another blood center that you should never donate blood, please disregard this message.
