Fiery Temecula Crash Reported After Vehicle Goes Into Local House
Fire officials say the car plowed into the home's garage.

TEMECULA, CA – Fire officials responded Monday to a fire in Temecula caused after a vehicle crashed into a home's garage. The Riverside County Fire Department reports that one person has been injured.
The crash was reported about 11:15 a.m. in the 42000 block of Humber Drive near Roanoake Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
"CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a traffic collision involving a vehicle into a structure," Agency Spokeswoman Jody Hagemann reported. "The first arriving engine company reported a vehicle vs the garage of a two story home with active fire."

Arriving personnel contained the fire within 20 minutes.
One of the occupants of the vehicle suffered "moderate" injuries and was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment, Hagemann said.

Sheriff's deputies were investigating the cause of the crash.
