• LEGO Store Ribbon Cutting, Opening Week Celebration Happening At Promenade Temecula Mall (patch.com) — Families in Temecula are getting a new LEGO Store at Promenade Temecula, opening Friday with interactive building areas, exclusive sets and special grand-opening giveaways. The weeklong celebration includes a ribbon cutting, Make & Take activities, daily limited-edition tiles and a sweepstakes for a $1,000 LEGO gift card, all aimed at making the mall a new hub for local LEGO fans.

• Memorial Set Up For 13-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck In Menifee; Temecula Woman Arrested After Pursuit (patch.com subscription) — A Temecula woman was arrested after a police pursuit in Menifee ended with a vehicle fatally striking a 13-year-old boy riding an e-bike at a Holland Avenue intersection. The driver faces homicide and other felony charges, while neighbors have created a growing roadside memorial and fundraiser to support the boy's family as the investigation continues.
