(inewsource.org) — Temecula city leaders and a new residents' group, Save Temecula, are mobilizing against SDG&E's proposed 150-mile Golden Pacific Powerlink, calling it a serious threat to the city's economy and nearby landscapes. The high-voltage line would cross Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to connect Imperial County to the coast, sparking regional backlash over environmental damage, tribal cultural impacts, and project costs to ratepayers.
