• Subdivision of 73 acres in Twentynine Palms pushed at Planning Commission (z1077fm.com) — A 73-acre housing subdivision east of Desert Knoll Avenue and north of Two Mile Road is moving forward after the Planning Commission agreed to clarify one drainage condition before sending it to the Twentynine Palms City Council. Only 40 homes were built after the project's original 2004 approval, so this renewed push could significantly change housing options and neighborhood traffic for nearby residents.
