A man shot and killed in Union City on Sunday night was identified today as 24-year-old Luis Miranda, police said. Miranda, a Union City resident, was found shot near the corner of 13th and I streets at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, police said. Despite life-saving efforts by firefighters, he died there.
He had been standing there with a group of other people when two suspects walked up and opened fire on them. Miranda was the only person hit by the gunfire, police said.
