School District, New Haven Teachers Association Reach Conceptual Agreement On New Contract
Both sides have agreed to a new three-year contract.

Announcement from the New Haven Unified School District:
The New Haven Teachers Association (NHTA) and the New Haven Unified School District (NHUSD) have come to a conceptual agreement on the components of a new three-year contract through the 2016- 17 school year. Both are still working on the contractual language details.
As soon as the specifics and language of the tentative agreement have been completed, NHTA will be scheduling meetings to explain the agreement to their members prior to a ratification vote.
