• Still time to join Chamber golf tournament (valleycenter.com) — A regional Chamber golf tournament is coming to Native Oaks Golf Course in Valley Center on Friday, August 28, and locals can still sign up to play. The Escondido Chamber aims to raise $50,000 for youth programs and invites residents to sponsor Valley Center first responders if they can't golf themselves. Registration and sponsorships are filling quickly.
