UPDATED: Fire Shuts Down 405 Transition to the 105
Right now, it's estimated to have burned three to five acres.

UPDATED at 3:37 p.m.: County Fire Department Inspector Keith Mora says that fire near the San Diego (405) Freeway at Imperial Highway, close to the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, is nearly extinguished. Two lanes are closed, he says, and will probably remain so for a 20-minute mop-up, he says.

City and county fire crews are battling a roughly 3-to5-acre grass fire alongside the San Diego (405) Freeway near Imperial Highway in the area of Los Angeles International Airport.
The transition road from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway to the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway has been closed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
