Thousands turn out for Aberdeen Christmas lights switch-on

Aberdeen Christmas lights are turned on in spectacular style last night, from Santa Claus, pantomime star a little help - even Darth Vadar.

Michelle Doherty her children, 5-year-old Megan and two-year-old Kevin, turned on the lights to see.

Torrey mother said while watching life display to annually has become a fixed part of their offspring festival calendar.

“I am pleased to see so many people into the same thing now in Aberdeen,” she said.

“Christmas lights have their magic in this year.”
