Three Injured in Head-On Crash Involving Taxi

A taxi collided with another vehicle this morning on the Venice Boulevard onramp to the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, witnesses told the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported just after 1 a.m., according to the CHP’s witnesses. There was moderate damage to the fronts of both vehicles, the CHP reported in a statement.

One vehicle was on the onramp and the other on the adjoining offramp when one crossed a median and they collided head-on, resulting in three people being transported to hospitals, including two taxi passengers, a news videographer reported from the scene.
