Attorney General Bonta Announces Arrest of Visalia Man, Seizure of Narcotics and Firearm Cache (ca.gov) — A multi‑agency task force working with Visalia Police arrested a Visalia man after seizing multiple firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine, and stolen passports from his home, where a child was also removed from danger. Officials say the suspect, already barred from owning guns and under a child‑abuse protective order, now faces several firearm, child endangerment, and court‑order violation charges.
   

5. TCAG rolls out Tulare County student art contest (thesungazette.com) — Tulare County students, including those in Visalia, can enter TCAG's Walk & Roll Art Contest this fall for a chance to win a new bicycle by submitting artwork by Oct. 23. Entries can be turned in online, by mail, email, or directly at TCAG's Visalia office, supporting a broader push for safe, healthy ways to walk and roll to school.
