3 Gunmen Rob Walnut Creek Bank: Police

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Three men robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Tice Valley Boulevard Monday, according to Walnut Creek Police. While the suspects brandished guns, no one was injured. The suspects fled in a stolen vehicle and have not been caught.

The robbery was reported at 10:50 a.m. in the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 1920 Tice Valley Blvd.

The suspects were wearing masks and stole an undisclosed amount of money, then fled north on Tice Valley Boulevard in a black pickup truck that was later determined to have been stolen, police said.

Officers arrived roughly four minutes later and located the stolen pickup truck in the vicinity of Rolling Hills Drive. A canine unit attempted to track the suspects, but that effort was unsuccessful.

Police are still trying to identify them, but a description was not immediately available. Anyone with additional information about the case is asked to call Sgt. David Rangel at (925) 256-3753.
