Kids and families join in the fun! There are 5 different locations you can join to help cleanup our local community.
Last year about 3,500 volunteers in Santa Cruz & Monterey Counties worked together to prevent 16,827 lbs. of pollution and debris from trashing our Sanctuary, littering our communities and harming marine life. That’s well over 8 tons that was kept from entering the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary in just three hours, on one day! Coastal Cleanup Day is what community is all about.
