WATSONVILLE, CA β€” The Watsonville Police Department has released another image of a car believed to be linked to an attempted kidnapping of a woman out on an early Sunday morning run last month. Police believe the car is a newer gray or silver Nissan Maxima or Altima.

A woman, 48, was out for an early Sunday morning run near Ohlone Parkway and Yarro Court last month when a man β€” described as a 5'10 Hispanic man in his late 20s β€” saw the woman and asked if he could speak with her, police say. The woman kept running, but he grabbed her and pulled her into his sedan. She tried honking the horn to wake the neighbors and eventually got away, and ran to a neighbor's house to ask for help.

There are no reports of similar incidents, police say.
