Firefighters are responding to a large blaze that has closed one road in Gilroy this morning, Cal Fire officials said. The fire was reported just before 5 a.m. and has been burning down pallets along with a nearby barn on Ferguson and Crews Roads, according to Cal Fire. Ferguson Road has been closed between state Highway 152 and Dunlap Avenue as crews from Cal Fire, Gilroy, and San Jose battle the blaze, Cal Fire officials said. No cause for the fire has been determined, no injuries have been reported and no other structures are thought to be endangered by the fire, according to Cal Fire officials.
