The County of Santa Cruz has been working hard on the Salsipuedes Creek and Pajaro River Levee Projects. As of September 26th the following has been completed.
Salsipuedes Creek
- Right bank surface work including asphalt concrete completed September 25th.
- Left bank surface work completed September 23rd.
- Removal of perimeter silt fences completed September 25th.
- Smoothing out of aggregate base rock levee shoulders in progress.
- Hydroseeding of bare slope areas will begin October 7th.
- Completion of construction / opening of levees on track for October 15th.
- Excavation and hauling completed August 23rd.
- Hydroseeding of bare areas completed September 20th.
- Construction completed.
