Woodland Hills Man Killed in Hit and Run Identified

A 36-year-old resident of Woodland Hills was Killed Wednesday when he was struck by a hit and run driver on Sunset Boulevard.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office today identified a motorcyclist struck and killed by a hit-and-run motorist in Brentwood.

The motorcyclist was identified as Ehsan Fazel, a 36-year-old resident of Woodland Hills, coroner’s Lt. David Smith said.

Just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Fazel was westbound on Sunset Boulevard at Kenter Avenue, where he was “splitting between the lanes when he collided with the passenger side of a white moving van,” Los Angeles police said.

Fazel lost control of his motorcycle and struck the roadway, suffering fatal injuries. The driver of the white moving van continued westbound on Sunset Boulevard, failing to stop and give aid to the motorcyclist, police said.

Paramedics pronounced Fazel dead at the scene.
