Arvada dumps plan as busy town centers navigate spot shortages, face pushback (denverpost.com) — Arvada City Council has shelved plans to introduce paid on-street parking in Olde Town after strong pushback from local businesses worried about losing customers. Officials say Olde Town's street spaces are often over 85% full while a nearby free RTD garage sits underused, so the city will now focus on better signage, safety, and access to existing parking before reconsidering any fees.
