Boulder Riots: 3 Defendants Accept Plea Deals
Three defendants charged with misdemeanor rioting have accepted community service, and one received a one-year deferred judgment.
BOULDER, CO — Three more defendants charged in connection with the University Hill riot have taken plea deals, the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
Brandon and Eric Hoover, who pleaded guilty on Dec. 6 to a misdemeanor count of engaging in a riot, were sentenced to one year of probation and 90 hours of community service.
Parker Clemons, who also pleaded guilty to engaging in a riot, was sentenced Dec. 2 to one-year deferred judgment and 85 hours of community service. If Clemons completes the terms of her service and does not pick up any new charges, she will be able to withdraw the guilty plea, according to the Daily Camera.

On March 6, a small party near 19th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue turned into a destructive crowd, with reports of 500 to 800 students throwing rocks and bottles at police and smashing the windshield of an armored vehicle. Another car was even flipped over by a mob, according to a police news release.
At least 10 people were arrested in connection with the riot, according to a Patch report.
