  1. City Council goes for restrictive citywide noise ordinance. City officials have moved forward with a policy that bans all "unreasonably" loud amplified noise, including sounds that can be heard from 200 feet away. (CU Independent)
  2. Boulder County rejects CEMEX's mining application. The county's planning board voted unanimously against the proposal, and is send a "no" recommendation to the county commissioners that would extend the permit for the CEMEX plant in Lyons for 15 years. (CO Sun)
  3. TGTHR CEO plans to exit the youth-focused nonprofit. Chris Nelson is leaving TGTHR next month after 14 years working with youth homelessness in Boulder County. The nonprofit organization is now conducting a national search for his successor. (CO Daily)
