Crew Rescues Dog That Fell Through Icy Lake In Boulder
A crew has a "cautionary 'tail' to share" for dog owners, Boulder Fire-Rescue said.

BOULDER, CO — Firefighters rescued a dog that fell through ice into a small lake near the CU Boulder South Tennis Complex on Sunday.
The dog's owner did the right thing and called the rescue crew instead of venturing out onto the ice himself, Boulder Fire-Rescue said in a tweet. If the ice isn't solid enough to hold a dog, then it's definitely not safe for a human, officials said.

The Boulder Fire-Rescue crew was on their way to ice diving training when they received a report of the dog trapped in the water, and they were able to respond quickly, officials said.
