- Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at a Colorado Springs Circle K gas station that left two people injured on Monday. 23-year-old Kevarris Norris was arrested Thursday on two counts of attempted first-degree murder. According to police, both victims involved in the attack suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive. (KKTV)
- Local activists led a march on Thursday in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women's Day. The march began at Acacia Park and featured traditional dances performed by members of the Haseya Advocate Program. The event was held to raise awareness about the disproportionately high rate at which indigenous people experience violence in the United States. (KRDO)
- A popular park road that has been closed for repairs since September will finally reopen this summer. City officials say the stretch of North Cheyenne Cañon Road will once again be accessible to the public beginning on Jun. 1. The three-mile stretch of road on the city's southwest side had been closed for major safety upgrades including the repair of three bridges. (KRDO)
