Here are the top three stories in Colorado Springs today:

1. The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Downtown Colorado Springs saw attendance double in February 2022, compared to the same time last year. 6,862 patrons visited the museum this February, concurrent with the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. In comparison, 3,052 visitors came to the museum in February 2021. (Colorado Springs Independent)
2. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is hosting its next Happy Tails Happy Hour event on Apr. 15 at 3 Hundred Days Distilling. Each month, the HSPPR holds an event at an area brewery to raise funds for its four-legged residents. For each drink sold, $1 will be donated to the Humane Society. (FOX21News.com)
3. A recent team-up between the Colorado Springs Police Department and Alabama law enforcement officials helped bring a suspected child predator into custody. An undercover detective with the Rainbow City Police Department, who was posing as a young girl online, was contacted by an adult man in Colorado Springs. The CSPD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit helped identify the suspect, 26-year-old Thomas Miller. (KRDO)
