Officers assaulted in separate incidents on Sunday: Colorado Springs police (gazette.com) — Colorado Springs residents should know that two police officers suffered minor injuries Sunday in separate assaults, one near Space Center Drive and another on West Garden of the Gods Road. Suspects in each case were arrested and face multiple assault charges, while the officers remained on duty after being treated.
