1. 3 hospitalized after shooting in east Colorado Springs, police say (krdo.com) — Three people were seriously injured in an early Sunday shooting near South Circle Drive and Airport Road in east Colorado Springs, and all remain in stable condition, according to police. Officers first found a wounded woman at the scene, then two more victims arrived at a hospital by private car. No suspect information has been released yet, so neighbors should stay alert for updates.
   

2. GTRI Opens Secure Facility to Work Directly with Space Force (gatech.edu) — Colorado Springs just gained a new Georgia Tech Research Institute facility working directly with the U.S. Space Force, bringing about forty high-tech jobs and signaling more growth in the city's space-defense role. Five months after opening, Living Proof Recovery is helping people rebuild their lives in Colorado Springs (koaa.com) — In southeast Colorado Springs, Living Proof Recovery has helped more than 300 people rebuild their lives just five months after opening, now housing about 30 residents with a waiting list. As winter approaches, founder Corey Woodard is asking the community for volunteers and donations like blankets, socks, food, and transportation help to keep vulnerable neighbors safe and supported.
   

5. Colorado Springs bars prepare for busy night during Broncos-Chiefs game (kktv.com) — Downtown Colorado Springs bars are gearing up for a packed Broncos-Chiefs game night, stocking up and staffing heavily to handle big crowds. Spots like The Sportsbook Bar and Grill and Trainwreck expect to hit capacity, with giveaways, faster dining service, and the usual high-energy Broncos fan atmosphere boosting both business and community spirit.
