Here are the top three stories in Colorado Springs today:

  1. Steven Klaffky has been appointed interim El Paso County attorney. The decision was made during a unanimous vote by the Board of County Commissioners during a Tuesday meeting. Klaffky has 10 years of experience working in the County Attorney's Office. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
  2. Spectrum is looking to add roughly 100 new employees to its Colorado Spring call center during a Thursday job fair. The hiring event will be at 11:00 a.m. at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region's southeast center on Jet Wing Drive. Attendees are asked to bring their resumes to the job fair. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
  3. The Colorado Springs City Council is hoping to crack down on illicit massage parlors with a proposed draft ordinance. The Colorado Springs Police Department estimates that over 25 massage parlors in the city offer illicit services to customers. The department has not been able to confirm that the services are rendered by human trafficking. (KOAA News 5)
