The new smaller-format Target will feature clothing, food and pharmacy services for those working and living downtown, and tourists.

DENVER, CO – Target's new "small format" store on the 16th Street Mall will celebrate its grand opening July 22. The 30,000 sq. ft. store is Denver's first in Target's smaller stores opening in "urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses," the company said in a press release.
The store will stock items aimed at urban professionals, downtown denizens and tourists and will include a "grab and go" food and beverage section as well as a CVS pharmacy and an internet Order Pickup spot.
The store at 1600 California Street will employ 80 people. Applications are being accepted here.
