• Water restrictions help Lafayette, Louisville, Erie maintain supplies as drought persists (coloradohometownweekly.com) — Lafayette's Stage 1 drought restrictions have cut local water use by about 13%, saving roughly 111 million gallons while reservoirs sit around 80% full. City officials say residents have responded well but stress the drought is far from over and restrictions will likely last through the water year. Nearby Louisville and Erie report similar conservation gains and ongoing limits.
   

• In Boulder County, Road of Remembrance dedication honors locals who served in WWI as effort to preserve historic pillars continues (timescall.com) — More than 100 people gathered at the Lafayette YMCA to dedicate Boulder County's newly designated Road of Remembrance along Arapahoe Road, honoring World War I veterans with strong local ties. Yet the future of the historic gateway pillars near U.S. 287 remains uncertain, as CDOT and the city of Lafayette have not agreed to relocate them to Atlas Valley for a planned Remembrance Plaza.
   

• 'I have nothing': Lafayette woman seeks support after car was stolen, used in break-in (kdvr.com) — A Lafayette single mother of six is asking for help after her paid-off Hyundai Tucson was stolen in Aurora and later totaled when suspects allegedly rammed it into a Jefferson County gun store during a burglary. She's now juggling repair and towing bills, no comprehensive insurance coverage, and difficulty getting to one of her jobs, while a friend has launched a GoFundMe for a replacement vehicle.
