Coronavirus Update In Lakewood: Stay-At-Home Order, Jeffco Cases
Here are the latest news updates in Lakewood amid the spread of the new coronavirus.

LAKEWOOD, CO — More than 130 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Jefferson County, and all Colorado residents are under a stay-at-home order.
Boulder County Public Health, Jefferson County Public Health and Tri-County Health Department rescinded their local stay-at-home orders Thursday and adopted the state's order.
In a joint statement, the three departments said the adoption will ensure that the orders' requirements "are consistent across the state," which will make it easier for residents to follow.

Under the order, people need to "make every effort possible to conduct only essential activities necessary to maintain health and well-being, such as getting groceries, obtaining medical supplies or medication, and/or engaging in outdoor activities like walking, hiking or running while following other social distancing practices," Jefferson County Public Health says in a public notice.
Work to provide essential business and government services or perform essential public infrastructure construction, including housing, is also permitted.
