JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — The Jeffco Open Space headquarters closed Tuesday due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus. The Lookout Mountain Nature Center and Hiwan Museum facilities also closed Tuesday until further notice, parks officials said. The closures include all scheduled education classes and public meetings.

Parks, trails and outdoor restrooms will remain open; however, high-risk visitors "should use discretion" for public restroom use and hiking, parks officials said. Those who are sick are asked to stay home.
