Lakewood Police Searching For Person Of Interest In Motel Murder
Kennie Sutton, 35, is considered armed and dangerous, Lakewood police said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — The Lakewood Police Department is searching for a person of interest wanted in connection with a murder at a motel on Colfax. He's considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Kennie Sutton, 35, is considered a person of interest in the murder of Brittany Guern, who was killed Friday at the Blue Sky Motel, 6205 W. Colfax Ave., police said.
Anyone who sees Sutton is asked to call 911 immediately.

Officers were called to the motel just after 9:30 p.m. Friday and found Guern suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said they saw three men and a woman running away from the motel in different directions.
Asha Adolphus Thompson, 32, was one of the suspects and was seen with a gun in his hand, police said. He was arrested Tuesday morning and faces a charge of first-degree murder in Guern's death.
