Man Charged With Murder In Death Of Woman At Lakewood Motel
Jarvis Gates, 38, is accused of kidnapping and murder, the First Judicial District Attorney's office said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman at a motel in Lakewood, the First Judicial District Attorney's office announced Thursday.
Jarvis Rondale Gates, 38, has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and tampering with physical evidence, the DA's office said.
Officers were called to the Chalet Motel, at 6051 W. Alameda Ave., around 3:15 a.m. Nov. 2. They found 32-year-old Rotasha Pryor-Thomas in a bathtub with the water overflowing onto the floor, police said.

Gates was arrested Nov. 5, and he's being held without bond at the Jefferson County jail.
