Man Found Guilty Of Lakewood Sexual Assaults
Darrell Wall, 50, sexually assaulted five women after he lured them into his van and RV, prosecutors said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A Jefferson County jury found a man guilty of sexual assaults in Lakewood, the 1st Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Monday.
Darrell Wall, 50, sexually assaulted five women by offering them a warm, dry place to sleep in his van and RV, prosecutors said.
In October, 2019, a woman reported a sexual assault to the Lakewood Police Department. She was able to identify Wall, and an investigation was launched, the DA's office said.

Investigators found four other women who had also reported being sexually assaulted by Wall in 2018 and 2019, the office said.
All five women said they were "loosely acquainted with Wall" after meeting him along West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood. The women were "particularly vulnerable, most of them experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, and drug or alcohol addiction," the DA's office said.

“Wall preyed on the vulnerability of these women who were struggling to get by,” said Pete Weir, 1st Judicial District Attorney.
“They showed great courage as they each took the stand and testified about what had happened to them, allowing us to hold Mr. Wall accountable and stop these assaults on women in the future.”
Wall was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault, one count of unlawful sexual contact with force and two counts of unlawful sexual contact, the DA's office said. His sentencing has been set for January 7, 2021.
