Lakewood Road Rage Shooting: Man Sentenced To 14 Years
Kile Joshua Chaca, 22, shot a man five times over a road rage incident, the Jeffco DA's office said.

GOLDEN, CO — A man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for shooting a driver in a Lakewood Walmart parking lot, the 1st Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.
Kile Joshua Chaca, 22, was found guilty of attempted second-degree murder in a 2019 road rage case, officials said.
A Lakewood police officer was on patrol Aug. 25 near the Walmart at 4400 Wadsworth Blvd., when he heard gunshots. He followed the sound and found a man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds, the DA's office said. The victim, 33, was taken to the hospital.

Chaca and the 33-year-old were arguing over the road rage incident, when Chaca pulled out a gun and shot the victim five times, according to the DA's office.
